丰田汽车(Toyota Motor
Corp.)在圣安东尼奥设有生产Tundra及Tacoma的工厂，其生产模式将成为丰田汽车经营北美地区其他工厂的蓝图。
丰田汽车公司于今日(4/15)宣佈，将在墨西哥中部的Guanajuato投资10亿美元，2019年起开始生产Corolla。
该厂将雇用2,000名员工，每年生产200,000辆汽车，成为「全球製造的未来模式」。
“We agreed to this settlement in order
to avoid a protracted dispute and possible litigation, as well as to allow
us
to move forward fully-focused on the steps to strengthen our quality
assurance

丰田汽车在San Antonio的Tundra厂投资设备升级后，该厂也可以生产Tacoma，丰田汽车也在当地与支援工厂营运的供应商合作。
位于Guanajuato的工厂将是丰田汽车在北美地区的第15家工厂，自2011年以来第1家，也是该公司目前在墨西哥最大的投资。
